Claims, not vibes
Every factual product statement must carry one or more citation IDs. Each cited source records its URL, title, publisher, verification date, and evidence type.
Three evidence lenses
- Manufacturer or owner: primary documentation for specifications, policies, and supported features.
- Independent review or user consensus: corroborating observation outside the seller’s materials.
- Hands-on source: clearly attributed testing or direct use.
Community and reviewer intelligence
Product verdicts combine Reddit owner anecdotes and discussions with YouTube reviewer evidence. Owner anecdotes, editorial reviews, commercial or affiliate content, and manufacturer claims stay visibly separate. A review title or video description does not prove hands-on testing, and a video description is never labeled a transcript.
A theme is called recurring only when at least two independent sources support it and one is non-commercial. Model mismatches, pre-release discussion, missing current coverage, commercial signals, and unresolved contradictions lower confidence or prevent a buy verdict. Buy, consider, and skip are evidence-navigation aids—not star averages, safety certifications, or universal consensus.
Freshness and corrections
Verification dates make staleness visible. If the evidence changes or a claim is wrong, we update or remove it and document the correction.
Commercial separation
Affiliate functionality is inactive on this site. Future commercial links must not change which evidence is accepted or how trade-offs are described.
